Take Advantage Of This Chance To Try Night Racing Or Test Out The Light Set You’re Eyeing

(January 9, 2014 – San Diego) A trailblazer in more ways than one, Light & Motion will be providing a truck full of demo headlamps and handlebar lights for Ninja Night Racers to try out.

“We’re thrilled to have Light & Motion aboard as a banner sponsor for this event,” said Race Director, and USA Cycling Coach Richard La China. “This is the perfect opportunity for anyone wondering about racing at night to give it a try without having to fully commit to another piece of mountain biking equipment.”

Light & Motion has been making lights for over 20 years offering models that help light the way for commuters, hikers, divers, and mountain bikers. Their lights are designed and built in Monterey California, where they are based.

“A good light set is an excellent way to take advantage of events like the Ninja Night Race, 24-hour races or even just to make sure you can still get your after-work ride in during those fall and winter months,” said La China. “In fact, I have a couple sets and I love to lend out my extra to introduce my friends and clients to the thrills — and practicality — of night riding.”light-and-motion-stella-bike-headlight-2-stock-M

Light & Motion is also donating some race-quality light sets to the Ninja Night Race raffle, held just before the awards ceremony. Each racer gets one ticket with their entry. All proceeds from the raffle go to support the Monarch School of San Diego. You have to be there to win, so register to race today.

Ninja Night Race is the first USAC-sanctioned night race series. The second series stop will be held at Balboa Park in San Diego on January 16, 2014 at 7pm. For more information including course map and directions, please visit
